Hello BP goers, I’m gathering up the courage to purchase my first investment.I’m currently looking at an old nursing home property and considering converting it into an event venue with attached rooms which would be included in a package deal.It’s a 70+ bed (likely 2 beds/rm) 2 story zoned b-1 (general business).

If I'm working an 8-5 job Thursday - Monday (Tues/Wed off), how many tenants can I realistically maintain, if any?

So it might be May 30 (I’m trying to figure that out right now bc they meet every 4th weds of the month, but then the date says May 30....which is 5th weds.

One meets tonight actually (2nd Wed each month) and the other on the 3rd Thursday of the month.

So CT REIA or Annie Liffey's which I should be at next Wed.  

I have put this on a slight hold for the time being (planning our wedding is taking up most of my free time now. 

The rest of the week (Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed) is devoted to learning the industry & time I am willing to put towards working for a local investor.

Saving for real estate might be difficult while also saving for a wedding, so it really depends on what your goals are and how quickly you want to grow. 

It is NOT a REIA but Fayetteville now has a local meet-up on 4th Wed of each month at Hampton Inn off Skibo.
