My options are as I outlined above.I have not listed it yet on VRBO or Airbnb because local vacation rental specialists have advised me that I cannot likely rent it for enough to cover all those expenses, especially as we now heading to our off-season when temperatures will be 110° or greater

He had said he would be out there every week, but he wasn't showing up, and I had paid for materials directly to him for Cabinets, Hardwood flooring, ETC...in which he said he had in his warehouse, and I trusted him.Finally I got fed up and said that I was going to have to find someone else to finish the job (About $20K left to do & it Was a total was a $70K Rehab JOB and I would like the Cabinets and Hardwood flooring I paid for and other materials back, or would like $10K back.  

Building on the post of @Steve Babiak above, gas is the best option for a whole-home solution, as gas units have a faster ramp-up and greater temperature lift that electric.However, electric in-line heaters have their place:We have a building with solar DHW and a 100 gallon holding tank.  

I kind of love that area, and lived in warehouse in deep deep oakland for a while in my 20's.Recently made a long slow timelapse drive all the way from 4th and international to 580, and then back again.

Well with all the global warming the government needs to control peoples breathing. that's what's causing the earth's temperature to rise. we can't have all these people breathing so much. 

The temperature swings are just too dramatic.
