Was the tenant making suspicious/weird noise to trigger the owner's curiosity alarm ?

Obviously he already has some cash, so just paying him back doesn't change anything.If that's the plan, then a lender is going to figure out what's happening and be suspicious.

But they are passable. these people seem to have x-ray vision, or are picky, or just have the habit of asking if the walls will be painted when they walk into any house.I'm wondering if you guys have had people who have made similar comments about your paint and later on, trashed your walls after you've given them a fresh coat of paint.Almost every tenant of mine has damaged/dirtied the wall in some way, so I'm suspicious of these prospective tenants who ask for freshly painted walls, who think my touch up paint is not enough.

I am always suspicious and extra thorough and on occasion it has been a load of crap.

You must be able to analyze financials, you have to know what numbers are suspicious and which ones are just plain wrong.
