Land flipping and new construction can be a fantastic choice, especially if you’re taking your time to learn the ropes.

You want an accountant who can help you strategize and who is responsive when you want to know the consequences of the financial decisions you are making throughout the year.Good luck.

I’ve been investing here since 2019, and while the numbers can look attractive on paper, the key is understanding the nuances of Detroit’s neighborhoods.There are definitely pockets that can yield the kind of returns you’re looking for, but you’ll want to be strategic about which neighborhoods you’re targeting.

Sometimes, though, it can feel a bit frustrating when you see people in your own network making decisions that, well, could be a little more strategic.

In cases like this, a police report and insurance claim (via tenant's rental insurance policy first, mine second) would be (have been) my first choice. 

Their love and involvement appears to be well intentioned, be grateful and thankful for that.You have choices to make, but each choice will provide its own set of challenges, consequences, hurt, disappointment, joy, reward, etc. 

If you have the means to get a loan and house hack in your current situation, I'd think living in a college town and knowing that town and area well would give you a strategic advantage.  

I'm not opposed to investing in Ashland, but Huntington would be my first choice due to the population, demand, growth, college, affordability, and the list goes on and on.
