Sadly the property no longer exists; it was on Riverbend Drive sitting on the Swannanoa River, and like all nine houses sitting on the river, it was swept away and floated down the river.

As noted above they're only in 18 feet which is not going to get you to the main unless your house sits right on the street or similar. 

DSCR sitting mid 6s today in the majority of scenarios. 

If you list it on the MLS and it's sitting for more than 30-60 days - you're probably asking too much and it hurts the marketability of the property until it will go for what someone is willing to pay for it. 

The advantage of my "day" job is i have a lot of spare time sitting around hotels with little to nothing to do.

In all of this they have continued to start new projects and leave mine to sit.  

@Ryan Tongue While there’s lots of opportunities in real estate/commercial real estate I’d sit down and brainstorm with a list of the pros and cons of immediately jumping into the real estate industry as opposed to pursuing a job with your engineering degree.

And if you don’t have much equity to begin with you could be stuck pulling even more money out of your pocket to sell if you need to or be stuck with a house for many years and sitting on the sideline when deals are abundant.

For an unsophisticated investor like White coat Investors who has 250k to park as a downpayment and let it sit without any upside except for appreciation go ahead.
