A lot of the northern suburbs (Plano, Frisco, Richardson, Carrollton, Lewisville, Flower Mound, etc) have lots of 3/2 starter homes.  

Not Dallas or north Metroplex (Plano, Allen, Frisco, etc.).

The suburbs in Plano, Frisco and The Colony are hot with Toyota and a few other companies putting their headquarters up there.  

Also, I was under the impression that people from outside TX are moving to higher population cities like Plano, Allen and McKinney.

No complaints, then all of a sudden several complaints in a short period of time.As far as "Joe D in Plano"....

Add to that the fact that Richardson, Frisco, Plano, Allen, Wylie, Lovejoy, Prosper...etc., all offer outstanding school districts with some areas boasting private school quality schools.I do believe rents will adjust.  

Plano near Toyota Hq, Addison near Galleria, Bishop Arts (still reconverting), Arts district, Casa Linda.
