What if the market crashes again?

After the last crash, Private Equity companies were doing this with a flawed model so they saw great losses, these companies are trying to use a more refined model however I still see gaps, the big upside is if you gave people the option of using a well known brand like Redfin or using the stranger who direct mailed or cold called you, Redfin will win most of the time over for those who are on the fence or uncomfortable with the situation.

The unit itself was about 6 yrs old, but brand new and had never been sold due to the market crash so we bought it from the builder. 

It kept crashing so I thought it hadn't posted.

I did a lot of deals in San Diego after the crash and I knew the market like the back of my hand.

I realize leveraging your primary is usually not advised - but I have plenty of equity even in a 50% market crash, and am in a strong market (SF Bay Area)Appreciate any advice!

And the 2008 crash really grab my attention.

Look at all the hedge funds that gobbled up houses after the crash and they have been dumping them.

It crashes all the time for me.

The number one question I have is what was it like having acquired properties before 2006 and did not sell prior to the crash?
