LTRs with long term conventional financing and standard management aren't really cash flowing anywhere right now. sure, there are lower cost markets that look better on paper, but there are costs associated with those supposedly cheap markets as well - deferred maintenance, more challenging tenant base, higher cost turnovers as a percentage of the rent.2. i wouldn't pick a random market thousands of miles away based solely on statistics or numbers. 

We have used it in our business but I tend to agree - if it shuts down and pushes more traffic back to youtube I think it would end up being better for us.

If you want higher growth then Cleveland and Dayton type markets with $100-150k prices may be better suited.I would encourage BRRRRs after your 1-2nd so you can recycle your money.

I find that internet providers, like Comcast, tend to update their technology and offerings to better speeds as customers have higher usage demands.

If you’re not able to, then it may be better to sell the condo, take the profit (if you have some equity in the condo) and put it into a multi-unit to househack again.

That has informed us for this year's trip, and we'll be staying in Langosta/Tamarindo, Potrero/Flamingo, and Hermosa (Guanacaste not Jaco).Of course, there are tons of beautiful places in CR, and the better climate (read: less hot) is found at higher elevations.
