Contrary to all the advice given here there are safe areas on the southside (where I grew up) to invest in, Morgan park, Beverly, around midway and in a few near suburbs like oak lawn and evergreen park etc. not many multis In those areas though.

There was a big hotel project in Beverly Hills and Wanda Group backed out of it.

We obviously don’t invest in Beverly Hills - we rent to good people who happen to live in lower income areas.On a home that we are all-in at $35k, our goal is to rent it for 700-750.
