And the verdict is not good, not good at all, they are experiencing high vacancy rates, low rents, couple that with the fact that apparently these guys got in during the last base upsizing, they bought the properties at a premium and now the base has experienced multiple drawdowns, it’s not uncommon for rents of $250 a month to be seen.

@Benjamin Danard Studio apartments in suburban towns in CT rent for a premium because there is not much inventory for people looking for studios/1-bedroom units in the suburbs as opposed to the inner cities which have a ton of inventory.

The downtown area is very desirable to live by so I was thinking, if priced correctly, it should rent out somewhat fast.3) regarding the PMI, I went to talk to the mortgage officer and she run me thru all the costs of the mortgage and such and offered the option to pay around $1000 in advance for the insurance of the mortgage in case of default and avoiding the monthly premium for the lifetime of the loan or until 20% equity.

Not saying that it's impossible because there seems to be insurance for everything but I would imagine that the premium would be too high to justify insurance on 2 "smaller" loans.

You so called premium jaded self righteous types are more damaging discouraging than my tenants addiction.I require renters insurance he has it but doesn't replace or cover dead bodies I also have co2 smoke alarms sprinklers but again dont stop or repair or cover dead body's. i had deal with 1st tenant almost dying.
