Sorry, I should have added that flooring for the most part is going to the store or looking online and ordering the supplies and buying the install from the store and setting a time to let the worker in.

There is a corner of my house that is leaking in some water (see picture)I had a company come take a look and they want to charge ~$2,700 to install a sump pump and about 15 feet of french drain.

A curved shower rod is $30 and a crappy on is $10.These are the type of things that can matter to a tenant,  but round off to $0 when I do my math.Permanently installed shower rods (screws rather than spring tension) last longer and don't scuff up the wall as much.

I watch the drywall installers just whip through the drywall to make outlet holes, light holes, switch holes, etc.
