Low cost, resilient, no worries about moisture, expansion/contraction, easy to lay, and easy to replace damaged pieces. 

Use greenboard if you build a new bathroom and also a more moisture resistant paint, such as a good semi-gloss.Retrofitting older bathrooms with fans is not always easy, because you ideally need to vent to the outside. 

The digital moisture gauge they used detected lots of moisture on top of the planks, and none in our carpeted rooms.  

We get 48,000 daily past our office....and we are about to give up our good location to move into newer office space in a worse location.
