It is November 25th and there is only about 35 days left in the year with a lot of professionals who take off the last week of the year.Given that information, you will likely need to buy a poperty with a quick close to achieve what you are looking to do.

So this was a number of years ago and I don't deal much in NYC anymore, so things may have changed. 

On top of your general inspection, this will be the best few hundred dollars you will spend when buying your home....

You won't have to fill it as often, but the hustle is going to be different.

I recommend you really dig into the costs and benefits, crunch the numbers, and see if there's going to be any real benefit.

if your doing a senior project I would suspect your best and most cost effective landing solution is going to be a local community bank that loves real estate.. in my experience most will want 50% down on the dirt and a ton of experience and a really strong balance sheet.Myself I always pay cash for the dirt this makes finding a lending partner much easier.

Is there any rule or timeline in which this has to be done?  

So even though I'm new I've seen enough to know I want to scale this new construction/build to rent by the room strategy in my market.
