I’m declaring here and now that I’ll be going into real estate investing as soon as possible, (not full time, will be continuing college education and career in finance).

So what career would you choose if you were just starting out as apartment investor? 

True I downsized but I was in my early twenties I wanted to find a career I would enjoy doing with feeling like I was working.

I am currently looking to begin my investing career by house hacking with a duplex by the end of this year.

I'm still in the 'gain as much knowledge as I can' phase of my investing career.

I am very interested in starting my real estate investing career, however, doing the math based on the sales prices and rents has me convinced it is going to be very difficult to find cashflowing properties in the area.

Perhaps your job can be used by someone who truly wants more, as a stepping stone to a better job and better career. 

LOL, very flattering I might add but I like the investing side to much thus far to invest what very little time I have to anything else but my REI career. 

Also, if you have any tips for someone just starting out or looking to pursue this career, any help would be appreciated..

I feel we are both in good position to invest, due to both of us having good careers.
