My career for 13 years has been in debt capital markets, specifically Structured Products (distressed mortgage backed securities, CLOs, CDOs).

Structure in any organization is important, but make sure you can adapt it to any disruptor changes or trends to avoid losing pace or even closing your business in the most fatal scenario.

I recieve a monthly structured settlement (which I currently use for rent and groceries), have an excellent credit score, several thousand saved as a cash down payment, and $4,000 in student loan debt so far. 

Great way to structure a deal. 

Define it in a contract with an attorney, have an exit plan and clear cut responsibilities or accountability structure.
