I then set that closing date the same day as my original purchase date / closing .I suppose my question is : am I able to set a contract to buy a property that I haven’t officially closed on yet ?

It’s important to do this since it may be displayed more prominently and will need to be authorized on each guest’s payment method 48 hours before check-in.This is still not as strong as the VRBO system where the host can hold the deposit in full or partially and the burden of the dispute is on the tenant, just like in a traditional long term rental.

The water will likely require a second meter and while the sewer does not require a separate system, the sewer authority says I would have to still pay a $2,900 tap on fee, but nothing would physically need to be done - they just want to collect the fee.
