I don't think becoming a licensed agent will benefit me in the short term but it may be beneficial long term. 

It is all up to what the specific parties find to their mutual best benefit.

@Andy Morris, MF can definitely benefit from understanding and negotiating the CapRate. 

I am hoping to get together with others that want to discuss and learn more about Real Estate, especially Multi Family, buy and hold, syndication, partnering and how to benefit from tax incentives for RE. 

I’m still researching them though so if there are any other thoughts/not obvious benefits about them - I’m all ears, thank you very much for the suggestion.
