@John Fedro is a man obsessed with Mobile/Manufactured home investing.

We almost took the leap a few years ago, but fear held us back.I am a manufacturing supervisor at a Biotech company in the area.  

If you are buying 10 units, many home manufacturers will give you dealer pricing.

They would not be my first choice to personally invest in, and if this is what I will be doing for the next 30 or so years, then I would like to be doing something that gets me excited and is not just work.I have earned enough respect from my peers at this point to switch product types without ruffling many feathers and I am very seriously considering switching to a focus on mobile/manufactured home communities.

There are decent working class communities and schools, with a lot of manufacturing around Granite City, Belleville, and Wood River.

In my experience, an owner would tell me (the manufacturer / dealer) long before telling his realtor or attorney!

Me personally, I don't buy notes on manufactured housing.

Professionally, I have spent the past 10 years in Sales developing territories for a manufacturing company for the Eastern US and am now ready to build real wealth and achieve financial freedom.
