Then once we decided to get into real estate more seriously we got the HELOC and used that as downpayment for the next flat.We wanted to use it to get a 3rd one but the bank said no, so I will let my two flats collect some more equity while i gain more experience and I will try the bank later once I have a longer history with them and they trust me more.In the mean time Im now learning about fundraising and moving to Dubai will mean I get to get more leverage there in some time.

I recently had some trouble renting too and I started thinking, "maybe I should just drop the fee, especially if I'll eat it later anyway", or "maybe I should drop the rent", or "maybe I should reduce the security deposit", well I was showing a 1BR and a 2BR and had nothing after a month and all of a sudden, they both popped at once.If you know you're competitive, stick to your guns.

But in MA, unless I am mistaken, an apartment can't be approved quickly, or deleaded quickly, so she would lose money in the deleading process and then still not have tenants who meet her income requirements, just the future ability to take Section 8 vouchers, not an appealing thought for her.I would rather (but too late, rent has been lowered) wait it out, clean up and show a gleaming like new apartment to motivated, qualified people.

Anything that a borrower cannot shop for that is not disclosed initially, or is disclosed in error, cannot be corrected or added and re-disclosed later, AND the lender is required to close the transaction as it was initially disclosed and cover the loss.
