@Kumail Zar It sounds like this is a fully occupied duplex, yes? 

My plan is to start off by owning a duplex that I live in one side and rent out the other.

Hi Everyone,Just had a lengthy conversation with one of my tenants who lives in an upper on a duplex.  

Its going to need all new flooring, appliances and at least some dry wall work.

Here are some options I'm considering:Rent out my condo, buy a duplex and live in one unit, rent out the other.Sell my condo, buy a larger multi unit like atriplex or quad, live in one unit, rent out the others.Rent out my condo, buy another 2 bedroom condo or townhouse, and rent out the spare bedroom through AirBnb.Please let me know your thoughts!

It is a townhouse that shares walls with three other units.

I am about to make a deal on a duplex on the west side of El Paso near Monticello.

A residential home, already divided into duplex and has 2 current tenants  (one's lease is until 3/31/18 and the other is 5/1/18). 

If you can stand a duplex try it ( currently doing that in DC).2) Brick and mortar banks will beat Quicken, they just do not work the hours they do.

This is a duplex 2 beds and 1 bath each unit looks like, I can’t see the other unit because it’s rented.
