I'm not a lawyer and don't know how the state laws go but the security deposit belongs to the tenant unless forfeited in the event repairs need to be made when they vacate.

Then you write down the addresses and look them up on your town assessors website and it'll give you the mailing address that the taxes are being sent to belonging to the property you seen driving for dollars.
