In my area where I specifically do projects like this as an engineer (for private developers not City), there would be no notice (barring certain specific instances).

Pay income taxes and stop running your side hustle as if it was the same as selling candy bars in school.I have a great client that I have been helping for almost two years.  

It's close enough to bars and local restaurants where it may flourish as a STR but I have a great tenant so if it's not broke don't fix it as they say!
