Avoid wasting money on toys, cell phones, cable TV, restaurants, car loans, wasteful bad habits and do not buy a personal home.

Also, just search the company names on Google, etc and see what comes up.Have a potential contractor give you their cell phone number, then randomly verify it by calling it later.

But what happens is more often than not the agent ends up favoring whichever client they have a longer relationship with.
