I actually just started a blog series on BP about it  I don't want to be "too busy" to do the things I enjoy doing. 

A component of California fire crisis is the series of insurance commissioners (going back many years) that created policies that prevented the carriers from raising rates too.

For instance, a series of questions could have been:1 - Are you wealthy or do you consider yourself to be wealthy?

I'm not talking about a 7-series in front of a $8000 house, I'm talking about a 10 year old Chevy Tahoe, with $15,000 rims, a $8000 paint job, Chrome finishings.

Any engineer will tell you that "disaster", or a complete failure doesn't usually occur because of one failure...it occurs because of a series of failures all happening at the same time.Think back to that time period, and all the failures that happened at once.Was the topic here one of them?  

@Shane H.When I was a freshman in college I joined the campus radio station, there was a series of broadcasts (not mine) targeted at the university president... needless to say, there was a mandatory meeting for all on-air personalities called.. the facility advisor opened by saying somthing along the lines of “everyone has a righ to free speech, that being said, the average cost to defend a defamation lawsuit in the US is 300k (circa 2001), the station is not responsible for your speech, are you ready?”

If you really want to keep every property separated you might want to take a look at Delaware series LLC. 

Look up Series LLC in the state where you hold the properties.

But lots of people do a holding entity, or series LLC.
