NY pays out far more than the national average, but insurance companies would be losing money hand over fist if this were common.I just looked at the statistics from Insurance Information Institute. 97.7% of all insurance claims in New York are for property damage, including theft.

I'm curious as to why you would need both. 504s will have a lender doing a first and a 2nd with the 2nd being purchased by a licensed development corp in the area that works with local institutions on those types of loans.
