Both the City and the residents tend to fight STRs, and especially SUPs. 

There is a real reason why communities fight STR and why there are restrictive laws about them. 

One of them is going to cost the person six figures potentially due to co-signing a loan.Not much you can do to fight it but make sure it is paid.Recommend to everyone reading to not do this for a friend as nothing good can happen from it.

The rental scene was out of control, you were fighting people to sign a decent place to live.

Though I have had to fight and scrap a couple of times.

@John Apple you could try and fight it but people will spread bad news much faster than good news.

@Jerry Benson Jerry, I think the first question that needs to be answered is what you would be doing if you weren't fighting the tenant.

I have found that my introversion is actually a strength when I learned to not fight against it.
