If you sent out a 1000 random post cards you might get nothing.

Something similar happened to me when I used to sell cars a customer called a con man lol sleazy salesman and much more after follow up he came back and bought 2 cars from me lol people tend to act random at times.

I would imagine that you would bend over backwards of existing clients in a way that you wouldn't go someone who randomly pinged you BP, Trulia, etc.Maybe I'm wrong, who knows...
