Regarding credit, is it the credit of an individual?

Thus far, no solid movement, despite having sent all the documentation requested via portal or directly to the individual at the bank. 

Our banker and turnkey company suggested we purchase each property under one individual to make the loan process easier and utilize being able to purchase multiple mortgages under each name.

That is a bit worrysome - if you are not careful, you could get taken for a ride by a less-than scrupulous business entity/individual. 

There are also those that will do individual properties with enough equity.

I signed an acceptance of the offer but then I got a call from the VA saying they don't approve of sales to LLCs, has to be to individuals, and that they had the authority to cancel the sale as they guaranteed my mortgage. 

My husband and I are owners in several investment properties, both as individuals (under a LLC, of course!)

You will have to make the decision if you want a portfolio loan or each individual property loan.

We all know real estate is very personal in how it's set up in form, function and location, and with that it will equally match and not match depending on the individuals wants, needs and interests.
