@Tajinder Kandola, in most cases the 1031 property has been held for more than a year thus saving you the 15 - 20% US capital gains tax.What is usually more of a concern for foreign investors is that regardless of the potential gain, the FIRPTA act require a withholding of 15% of the sales price of the property.

With as many people here who post the "read the site" replies the only thing they are doing is mostly speaking a foreign language to an inexperienced, new investor because the information on the site is scattered and not in any order to get a new investor from A to Z without first confusing them.

Meena Price , of-course consult with your attorney and CPA but if your LLC does business in PA, it will need to be registered as a foreign Corp in PA and pay PA taxes.I don't see the benefit of of have a LLC registered outside PA unless you believe the business laws are much friendlier, which is why some people choose states like DE.Some people deal in their personal names and carry an umbrella policy for liability.If you ever want to get a mortgage from a bank, most will not lend to LLCs.
