Not saying that you should not have an inspection and possibly have a full on structural engineer look at it, just saying that it isn't something that would raise a big red flag to me.I'd probably have been more concerned about the detached bottom of that downspout

Do they tear down old homes in mature neighbourhoods  and intensify by building towns or semi-detached dwellings?

There are a few areas of Dallas proper that have allowed where there was a detached garage and people put apartment over garage.
