Im new to real estate and have been looking at different ways of getting funding and am not sure which method to pursue.

Again my questions is, should I be concerned about the current landloard transferring these funds to me?

He wanted me to pay "lawyer fees" before providing funds for the deal I presented him.

After I walked the property, found a lot of deferred maintenance, learned that half of the units are in the least desirable part of town and around $100k in repairs and updates.

It was listed on Thursday, I saw it Friday and emailed a few HMLs to ask for proof of funds letters to go in my offer, and I need to submit my offer tonight and I haven't gotten any letters back.I've already been pre-approved.

I'd like to buy at a good deal to have some equity in at the beginning, but of course cash flow well to fund the purchase of the next multi deal, and so on.
