Usually when the mortgage payments stop coming in or the estate files a death notice this would probably trigger the bank to start the processI would like to know if anyone from the group has a idea how to find these properties before the bank get's a hold of them.I thought about trying to work with mortgage brokers to find out about their mortgages written 5 -7 years prior.

It's a 6 bed 4 bath duplex and I'm living in half.

Square footage, numbers of bed/bath, construction types, etc.

Sounds like a money pit that will nickel and dime you to death, unless you got the cash to fix these major times.

I would replace the counter top for personal reasons but again it will not increase rent.I would defiantly put in a closet and there by add a third bedroom, I do not understand the purpose of the sky light and would not touch it.Adding a third bed room is the only improvement that will warrant higher rents and is relatively inexpensive.

He went as far as asking what I did with the money I received after my moms death a year prior to me appling for the loan and he e-mail a friend of mine that I had loaned money to years ago and wanted to know what he did with that money.

Look for distressed plays such as death with the kids out of state looking for a quick transaction.

Downstairs is a 2 bed one bath, upstairs a 1 bed one bath.

Determine your criteria for the fix and flips you want to do based off bed/bath, sq/ft, etc.
