You'll notice Australia and European regions use the term "holiday homes" or "short term let" instead of vacation homes and short term rental. 

Those on the 'outside' will never appreciate this trait.Having successfully niched into a lot of successful C/D-Class properties we have seen & experienced it all in our 30+ years, but nothing like your front-line tour of duty. 

He knows the market inside and out, jumped through a plethora of hoops for us whether it was driving 2 hrs out of market to Pensacola Beach, hosting numerous video tours, or gathering property financials.....Daniel was ON IT! 

I went on a rehab tour walk through with my local REI Group for $49 (Full day event and it included lunch)

I've also never had that many people show up for a tour before.

Would recommend checking out some of the outskirts of ATX wine tour destinations such as Dripping Springs and Fredericksburg.

Like I said, your agent could and should have done a better job but in my opinion based on tour post does not seem to rise to the legal/financial level

You can also hire your own appraiser if you don't mind the extra cost, and again, a visit to the property and a tour of the neighborhood/city can go a long way to confirming the value of a property without relying on someone else's opinion.
