Dan,I took the coursework through Kaplan and just studied on my own time.  

However, there are several case studies of "cost effectively" built houses which achieve "near Passivhaus" performance (i.e. 20 - 35 kWh/m^2) per year.  

I would do like you suggested, Bill, but the bank doesn't allow for inspection contigency or option period.

I would like to take this time and ask if anyone has any tips or suggestions please reach out as all advice is helpful.

@Dustin Cook offers sound advice--I suggest you heed it or prepare to get swindled.

How would you suggest I handle things?  

While searching the net I found to read certain blogs in Gorilla Bins ( http://www.gorillabins.ca/blog/how-to-start-an-e-waste-recycling-business/ ) about how to start an E-waste recycling business.It seems more informative to me.But still, I need some suggestions from the experienced persons because I am new to this field. please do help me!
