How do you all decide what "industry types" you would like to market to; i.e. traveling professionals, medical, education, etc...?

There's a lot of industry moving to the North Bend and Coos Bay area with modular facilities taking advantage of the Bay.

So, I do not expect real estate investing to become my full time job, but I plan to pursue it fairly vigorously.We picked downtown Houston initially based on the proximity of two growing industries (oil & gas and medical) that were attracting young professionals (our target renters). 

Yes, I know there's argument that Houston is economically diverse in not only oil & gas, but medical, etc...

Is Medical Marijuana legal where your rental is?

She's in Medical School and I am in the financial service arena.

On my end, I see it as tenant improvement project, where you are changing tenants from senior housing with facilities and services to a regular apartment rentals.
