This means that the Spanish government's rental price index will force us to achieve a paltry 2.5% gross return on our premium area apartment.Additionally, the situation with "squatters" (Okupas)  is worsening in all areas of Spain, including in areas considered "ultra premium" such as "La Finca" in Pozuelo de Alarcón, where footballers and singers reside (Cristiano Ronaldo lived there when he played for Real Madrid).

Such a loaded question......and MANY discussions on this "question" in the pastYou cant compare units that are fully paid off to ones that are at 70-80% LTV.......Some people post numbers based on gross cash flow and don't account for all the expenses you need to take out for real cash flow numbers etc...while other post net cash flow after all those expenses are accounted for.....So many variables that there is no great number to shoot for....so be really careful that you compare apples to apples..

I removed a DOJ Lien PRIOR to the purchase of a single family residence BECUASE I was negotiating a Short Sale that I was buying. 

Some areas may have specific rules regarding the percentage of time you need to reside in the property.Remember that real estate investing is both an art and a science.
