I've heard there are sub-meter devices you can hook on to the cold water line coming into the apartment that can monitor that individual units usage.  

Are direct mails more effective than cold calling in the  real estate wholesale business industry?

I’ve never heard of anyone doing this before and I thought cold calling expiring leases could generate great business if possible!

I've been cold calling homeowners with Property Radar for about 1.5 years.

The same day my property manager arrived to show the property to a potential renter (difficult to rent in January) to find the house “quite cold”.When she went to check the heat the thermostat had been ripped from the wall.

Hello BP, We recently purchased a triplex in a cold climate.

Not sure why you left San Diego to come to the cold ;-)My limited understanding of the ordinance is that it definitely will make a make difference and help tons of investors create addition duelling units and cash flow.Maybe @Prashanth Mahakali or @Samuel Pavlovcik can provide some additional incites as I know they both have a good understanding of the ordinance and it's impacts.fyi- If you search Chicago ADU there are some other really good posts about it.

@Ryan Redenius in cold weather climates, **** roaches are brought into the property by tenants.

Although I am using it for cold calling, these kind of lists would probably work for text also.
