To make a long story short, we lost our home due to a mistake our attorney made, and found ourselves packing up all of our belongings and opening a map to figure out where we were moving to.

Most of these mistakes can be fixed by adding the proper hurricane ties, lag bolts, etc at a fraction of the cost of hiring an expensive engineer and just as safe.

They didn't now everything, made some mistakes along the way, but that is how we learn.

You should also check the lockbox periodically during the rehab as I have on numerous occasions found the lockbox NOT LOCKED with the key in it.I hope this helps out others in our BP community to save costly mistakes I learned the hardway.
