I have looked at the Moriville population growth and seems like the population is growing however there's no public transportation there and still seems like a small town.

In general, the only time I would use an "area" as a guideline is if you are talking about the nicer neighborhoods like Bagley, Boston Edison, Corktown, Woodbridge, mexicantown, etc.  

It's important to keep things nice and tidy to attract good renters.Other features that prospective renters consider are relative to the location of the property, such as, is it close to their job, close to schools, close to the freeway or on the bus line for public transportation, are there nearby amenities, grocery stores, restaurants, shopping centers, parks, etc.

New to BP out in Boston!

We have a property that’s vacant... and I’m not sure how this virus has impacted the Boston rental market...

It was close to NYC transportation which was good and is something I look for in my investments. 

@John Anderson, the real estate market in Boston is very different to the rest of the country.

They do prefer to be somewhat close to a hospital, but walking distance isn't necessary unless you're in a very urban area where parking is difficult or they'll take public transportation.

I'm not familiar with the area, but here are some things to look into to determine if it will be better for STR, LTR, or neither.STR:- Amenities, transportation, night life, popular tourist attractions, stadiums/concert venues, beaches, museums, can the home be turned into something unique, you will need to furnishLTR:- Amenities, work/job locations, schools, wage increasing over time, transportation, low crime rate, everything on the STR list, you will most likely not need to furnishI hope this stuff helped!
