I've been trying to cancel my subscription but the "cancel my benefits" does not work.

In this case the current financials on the property aren't great(rents well below market value and the owners family living in several of the suites) so the lenders will likely not provide the funding based on poor NOI.  

Yes, none of those things are "natural" so to speak but it is the least of all evils.

I think the main thing would be access to the books to make sure of the expenses.

I don't have any pending legal issues at the moment, but I've been thinking I should find a lawyer that I can go to for questions, to review documents, leases, etc so that I can have confidence that I'm not making any silly mistakes that will get me into trouble later on.
