I'm Paul, and I just signed up for Biggerpockets because after years of living frugally and working hard (and a sizable bit of luck), my wife and I are able to seriously consider investing in (read: buy with cash) a winter getaway / retirement spot.

They are both fairly open and have good stable jobs.Also, I am not sure if it is possible, but is there a technique where they could get a loan, one of them is pre-approved for $300,000, then lend that money to me to invest with? 

One of my clients is on their 15th property this way, and they are retired at 40. 

Thought about working with a financial planner to help consolidate all my IRAs and investment accounts,  rollover some retirement funds into a ROTH IRA so I can utilize it in the future for investment and be prepared for life after COVID.

I currently own a stable 4 family in the area. 

My wife and I live in California, but plan to retire in Florida within the next 10 years.
