On the first, I pulled comps utilizing similar sq ftg, age, neighborhood, and bed/bath count and the appraiser told me he couldn't utilize those because they are different floor plans.

Confused was an usnderstatement.I called the case manager to ask why it’s so low and she said the max that they’re allowed to pay for a 2 bed 2 bath home is a total of $610 and that the previous landlord must’ve been taking additional payments.

I'd much much prefer the passive income of rented properties, than having to get out of bed each day to follow up enquiries, see houses, jump through hoops - and hope that I make my own mortgage payment each month, not to mention shoes for the kids, groceries, and keeping the wife in a lifestyle we can't afford.I would much rather my tenants go through all that, and then hand me some cash once a month.
