I need to rent out a room asap in my 3 bed 2 bath house to free myself of the mortgage payment but I also want to renovate the rooms a bit.

House is empty and there was a death in the house sometime in the past year.

On the first, I pulled comps utilizing similar sq ftg, age, neighborhood, and bed/bath count and the appraiser told me he couldn't utilize those because they are different floor plans.

He has said he can add me to his will and make it irrevocable or do an irrevocable transfer of death deed for his home and a 25k stock portfolio. 

Confused was an usnderstatement.I called the case manager to ask why it’s so low and she said the max that they’re allowed to pay for a 2 bed 2 bath home is a total of $610 and that the previous landlord must’ve been taking additional payments.

My wife and I are purchasing a side by side duplex right now that is three beds and 1 1/2 bath on each side.

I’ve found that waking up earlier gets me a head start on the day to take advantage of time but by 9 I’m ready for bed.  

They were 2 beds, 2 baths.  

Hi All,I recently completed a renovation on a semi-attached, 4 bed, 2 bath in Baltimore, MD that based on comps is probably worth around $160k now.  

I'd much much prefer the passive income of rented properties, than having to get out of bed each day to follow up enquiries, see houses, jump through hoops - and hope that I make my own mortgage payment each month, not to mention shoes for the kids, groceries, and keeping the wife in a lifestyle we can't afford.I would much rather my tenants go through all that, and then hand me some cash once a month.
