I have been educating myself the last few months about real estate investing (here, books and podcasts).

I am giving myself at least 3 months to catch up on all the reading and education and then go from there.  

Then you can continue to the last laugh for years on him over your short term remodeling time.  

I told him that I was a new investor and he took the time to answer all of my questions and educate me about my target markets.

I have some medical conditions that will keep me from continuing that job long term as it is physically demanding. 

My husband and I are still in the “education” phase of our real estate journey, but we plan to buy our first propert no later than 2020 - quicker if we can save up capital faster than projected.

Hubby and I will continue to work for now since both of us work in a medical field and hopefully wants to retire soon with passive income.

You'll read some commentaries that the market is starting to swing back toward a more "balanced" market vs. being very much in favor of sellers, but values are continuing to rise, albeit maybe more slowly than in the past.

We have loan contract and it was supposed to be a quick loan, however the person failed to continue to pay after they made second payment.
