I saw this one on the hotsheet and sneezed a little at their estimated rents too.That area is actually pretty supportive of closer to $650/$750 for 2 bedroom units in decent shape.

Make sure that the area you want to build can support the costs of new construction.  

I don't have consumer debt, and I have a little cash saved up.

However, I see a tremendous opportunity to become "the guy" who specializes in supporting a fantastic hard working / family oriented culture.
