I’m curious to hear how others got started in real estate and If you were to start over, how would you first begin investing in real estate?

Hi all,I’m Josh, a real estate investor (land banking) who started my journey in a small town in Oklahoma and moved to Mexico in 2012.

I have only 3 doors now but I'm getting more soon.Some one mentioned REI Hub so I'm looking for some user reviews and other suggestions that you may have experience with.I downloaded the free 30 day trial of REI Hub but I think it will take more time to set up than the help it will provide.I started using REI Hub this year and it has been fantastic.

One issue is the challenge of qualifying, as conventional loans will have DTI requirements, income requirements, loan size limits, and loan amount limits that investors looking to scale a portfolio run into as soon as the financial freedom snowball starts rolling.

My daughter is starting vet school there in August and thought it might be a good place to invest.

Which company do you use for self directed IRA?

I am weighing the option of starting my real estate investment strategy in a RE Syndicate OR in 2-5 unit rental units.

The original property manager was a local company and then they were bought by a larger corporation.

I wanted to comment about your strategy which by starting to get your carriage house ready is a great place to start as you already own the property.

So I want to start looking at the best areas to invest in and do some research for myself
