I'm not fired my partner might be but might move to a different department within casino but we are getting tons of cash from unemployment about 8g a month living expenses are next to none living with parents they are coming too lol

This is a fun journey!

So now on to the fun.... trying to do a cash-out refi in a coronovirus recession on a super rare type of property (at least in Bham). 

But also trying to have fun with it and see where it goes.

Real Estate Background: I sold my first personal home this year and I learned a whole lot and I actually enjoyed various aspects of the selling side of the business.I enjoy the Biggerpockets podcasts as it has a fun format and its a great program to learn from others who are real estate entrepreneurs.

Affordable housing is going to be a big market segment there, but be sure to get educated on all that comes with affordable housing such as maintenance, evictions, property managing, all that fun stuff. 

I love Houston too- I've had some of the best meals of my life there- fun city!

@Filipe Pereira first thank you for commenting on the post, well there are a couple of reasons we choose Springfield my wife grew up there and we have a strong support system from her large family there i have visited a couple of times and was there in January and can see opportunity there and see the city is trying to turn things in a better direction example the new casino. i also noticed that rents are on the rise and cost are still reasonable to purchase and find property's were i can add value to. i also am open to invest in the surrounding area's willing to drive 7 to 8 from Springfield but i want to bring good housing to the city. i visited a meet up group while i was there and felt a sense of community but i haven't meet someone who is currently doing business there. if i can get in contact with like minded investor there it would be great. you mentioned you manage some property's there what is experience dealing with tenants there ?
