It is in great condition it was built in 1994 and is listed for 139k and was newly updated by the realtor's brother who owns his own contracting company.

I would choose someone reputable like Baker Brothers or A#1 Air in our area, just to name a couple you can locate other really good contractors in BP and byGoogle swaech I would just make sure they are someone you can trust.

My Brother and I bought 8 units around 2006 and didn't make any money because we bought too high. 

Me and my brother are looking to start a real estate llc investment company...my bro is an accountant for an established real estate llc in Chicago involved in bigger deals 25+ unit bldg...I have a degree in construction management but currently work as a cnc programmer.. what advice can the bigger pocket community give us on starting and what kind of deals should we begin with...our strategy we're thinking of is buy and hold with the brrr method... single family, multi, or condos in the city or suburbs?

Getting ready to begin acquiring rentals with a partner (brother in law) and I was looking for advice on who I should engage (lawyer, accountant, etc.) that can help me nail down how the business should  look to protect everyone involved. any recommendations on individuals you have had success with ?

With 2 renters (one of whom was my brother) the math was easier but now I've got 3 so I gotta get into the habit.
