I just wanted to know if there are any other groups/organizations that meetup in the New Orleans metro area.

I think it will be unique to every deal which is why I wanted to contact owners with 100% as it opens up more options.  

Perhaps when you get there you can ask the organizers to introduce you to someone in your area to at least break the ice.

Very unique and tred on water type real estate stuff and yeah I was in way over my head with all this info on it.

Jeff would have a hard time at want he is doing, and pray for an organization, like the one I'm a member.

A unique brand is also more flexible in case you want to change your strategy/location or if the "We Buy Houses" line stops being effective in your area.  

Just Google search it and you should be able to find a few meetings or organizations.

Shawn hit it on the money :) also add just network and get out there in the snow and look at some properties, meet agents, brokers, the most important thing is your DO something, *action* and go to your local REIA or real estate investor clubs/groups/organizations!

I have so many varied deals--Sub2, sandwich leases, houses sold on CD, timber sale income, flips, interest from private loans...then there are all the receipts for expenses, 1099s for workers, 1098 for buyers and from banks, organizing the data to be entered, tax planning, the list goes on and on.

Its a great place to live, and a very unique area.
