In my experience it takes me ~30 days from filing to the hearing to the dispossessory being executed if the tennant doesn’t present an acceptable extenuating circumstance at the hearing.

Maybe look at FHA 203k...google it..At the end of the day if the numbers make sense in your area then it's pretty cut and dry...Also if your circumstances allow you may want to actually reside in the in-law and rent out the rooms individually in the house which will almost certainly generate more revenue.

I am a first time home buyer and I unfortunately do not have enough money saved for a down payment, although I do have $5,000 and can make an additional $5,000-$10,000 over the next two-three months for closing costs.
