Ratios are a guideline, not a hard and fast rule, especially as disposable income increases.Many people give up other things to live in a certain area or a particular home, that may be more important to them than weekend travels, or other entertainment.

I second @Marc Ramsay advice as well.BTW Marc I hoped to have a great video of my last eviction like you had by having stuff thrown down the stairs but unfortunately there only was a couch and a entertainment center left by the tenant as they skipped town in the middle of the night.

Every deal is not going to be roses, but again, I know enough to see this as potential so I am at least exploring it.The property is zoned enabling you to build two structures as well (duplex) which is really where the frosting is, otherwise I would not even entertain the deal if it was just a single home lot.My problem is a common one.

No worries I am the same way in that I would want my rentals to be nice enough for me to live in but at end of day its still a business and sometimes I have to tell myself that.For example last weekend while I was at HomeDepot they had a sale in sensor lighting for outdoor.
